Consulates
The Embassy in Lisbon also represents Denmark in Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé and Principe, which were Portuguese colonies until the 1974-75 revolution.
We have two Honorary Consulates on the Portuguese mainland in Faro (Algarve) and in Porto (the North), one in Funchal (Madeira) and one in Ponta Delgada (the Azores). We also have two Honorary Consulates in Cape Verde, in Santa Maria (Island of Sal) and in Mindelo (Island of São Vicente).
Staff
The Embassy has nine staff members who communicate in Danish, Portuguese and English.
The Embassy’s consular section and the consulates assist Danes in consular and many other matters in Portugal. Some consular services are subject to standard payments, which can be found here.
The Embassy has a meeting room which can be used for business meetings. Facilities in the Ambassador's residence may also be used on a paid basis for business purposes.
You will find more information about the Embassy and our tasks, functions and services on the following pages.
