State of Green

As the official green brand for Denmark, State of Green gathers all leading players in the fields of energy, climate, water and environment, and fosters relations with international stakeholders interested in learning from the Danish experience.

Over the course of the past 20 years, the issues of climate change, sustainable development and green growth have become top of mind globally. Denmark has a lot to offer in terms of providing technological and systemic solutions towards meeting the challenge of climate change. Likewise, Denmark is a long time driving force for a continuous focus on sustainable development and green growth, exemplified most recently by the Global Green Growth Forum and the proactive green agenda of the Danish EU presidency.

With a view to making communication about Denmark as a green nation more uniform and increasing awareness about the solutions and competences Denmark has to offer, the Climate Consortium of Denmark has developed an official green brand for Denmark – State of Green.
