Follow-up on the Information Sessions in Lisbon
Youth Goodwill Ambassadors and Lisbon Embassy gather 50 Portuguese students.
Two information sessions on Studying in Denmark took place at the Embassy in Lisbon on March 27/28. Three Portuguese students in Denmark appointed by Copenhagen Capacity as Youth Goodwill Ambassadors in collaboration with the Embassy in Lisbon gathered 50 students offering information about study, accommodation and living conditions in Denmark. Questions focused also on research, work and internships, university admission and financial support and on Danish society and lifestyle in general.
Youth Goodwill Ambassadors (YGA) is a global network of international students in Denmark, supported by Copenhagen Capacity. They brand Denmark as an attractive study destination while working to increase job opportunities. More information about the program here.
The three Goodwill Ambassadors presented background research on studying and work opportunities in Denmark. The very dynamic sessions received positive feedback and established neetworks among active students in PT and DK, which encouraged the Youth Ambassadors to return to Lisbon soon.
The Embassy found the events a very positive learning experience to be continued in future sessions. Other missions may also benefit by engaging with the Copenhagen Capacity Goodwill Ambassadors for their region.
